What file formats do you accept for display model manufacturing?

To begin manufacturing your display model, we need a 3D digital file. Here are the formats we support:
Accepted File Formats
- STL (.stl): The industry standard for 3D printing. Ideal for single-color or painted display models produced via SLA or MJF.
- OBJ (.obj) with MTL + texture files: Supports color and texture mapping — the preferred format for full-color Color Jet display models.
- STEP (.stp / .step): High-precision engineering format, ideal for technical product replicas and mechanical display models.
- IGES (.igs / .iges): Accepted for surface-heavy designs from Rhino, CATIA, and SolidWorks.
- VRML (.wrl): Supports embedded color data, useful for architectural display models exported from SketchUp or Revit.
No 3D File? No Problem.
If you do not have a ready-to-print 3D file, our 3D design and scanning team can create one from:
- Reference images and dimensions you provide
- Technical drawings or engineering blueprints
- A physical product sample (via 3D scanning)
- Branding assets and artwork files
Our team will also check your file for printability — wall thickness, overhangs, and geometry errors — before production begins, at no extra charge.
"Send us your design in any format. Our team will handle the rest, from file preparation to final delivery."
