What exactly is wall design and partition fabrication via 3D printing?
When we talk about wall design and partition fabrication utilizing 3D printing, we are referencing a shift away from standard, flat building materials. We are creating truly three-dimensional architectural elements.
The 3D Advantage
Traditional partition fabrication usually involves cutting shapes out of a flat sheet of MDF, glass, or steel. 3D printing is an additive process. This allows us to fabricate walls that have varying depths, flowing organic curves, and complex internal structures. A partition can be dense at the base for privacy and taper to a delicate, open pattern at the top to let light through.
Parametric Design Freedom
Because every piece is fabricated from a digital CAD file, the design can be perfectly scaled to fit the exact dimensions of your space, integrating mathematically driven patterns (parametricism) that are impossible to carve by hand.
